At Applewild, we believe in the power of civic-mindedness—one of our Core Values. We proudly honor those who dedicate their lives to keeping us safe, responding to emergencies, building strong communities, and educating the next generation. Since 1957, Applewild has been deeply rooted in serving the local community while welcoming students from across the country and the world.
To reflect our commitment, we offer Civic-Minded Scholarships, covering 50% of tuition for Kindergarten through 9th-grade day programs, to support families who embody these values and help make an Applewild education possible.
Eligibility extends to the children of:
- First-responders such as active duty police, paramedics, and firefighters
- Municipal employees (town or state government)
- Public school educators/employees
Serving the following Central Massachusetts towns: Ashburnham, Ashby, Ayer, Dunstable, Fitchburg, Groton, Harvard, Leominster, Lunenburg, Pepperell, Princeton, Shirley, Sterling, and Townsend
- Faculty/staff of Groton School, Lawrence Academy, Cushing Academy, Winchendon School, Dublin School, Worcester Academy, Fitchburg State University, and Mount Wachusett Community College
- Actively serving US Military personnel
