We believe in making an Applewild education accessible to as many children as possible through Financial Aid, Scholarships, and Community Partnerships.
Scholarships are merit-based and not tied to a family’s income, and are designed to attract and retain students who embody Applewild’s Core Values, and bring specific attributes sought by the school. Once awarded, these scholarships remain with a student for the duration of their time at the School. In contrast, Financial Aid is determined based on a family's demonstrated financial need, taking into account their income, assets, expenses, and debts as reported in the application process.

Merit-Based Scholarships
At Applewild, we empower students to pursue excellence in academics, arts, and athletics. Merit-based scholarships are available to new students applying to grades 4, 5, 6, and 7. Once awarded, scholarships are automatically renewed annually as long as students maintain good academic and behavioral standing. Scholarships range from 5% to 95% of tuition and are considered confidentially by the Scholarship Committee. Scholarships are awarded in three areas: Academic, Arts, and Athletic.

Chamber of Commerce Partnerships
We welcome North Central Massachusetts Chamber of Commerce (NCMCC) and Nashoba Valley Chamber of Commerce (NVCOC) members to join the Applewild family. Through our partnership with NCMCC and NVCOC, we offer member families benefits including an application fee waiver, preferential access to enroll in the Preschool, and a $1500 tuition discount for K-9 (in addition to our generous financial aid opportunities).
Scholarships and Community PartnershipsWe maintain a reasonable tuition that typically covers 75% of the actual cost to educate a student. This means that families paying full tuition effectively receive a 25% subsidy that is covered largely through fundraising, as well as from proceeds from our endowment. Tuition covers the cost of teacher salaries and benefits, professional development, utilities, and supplies. Approximately 80% of our operating costs goes towards compensating our exceptional faculty and staff. While tuition covers most of the cost of attending, there are some additional fees to help us cover our costs. High quality education is costly, and parents choose to confidently make the one investment that is guaranteed to pay-off when they choose Applewild for their child.
Scholarships and Community PartnershipsThe Financial Aid program for K-9 is designed to make an Applewild School education possible for all families based on demonstrated financial need and the availability of funds. The deadline for completing the kindergarten to 9th grade financial aid application including relevant supplemental documents for our standard admission deadline is February 1, 2025.
To get started, please go to the Clarity Application and create an account. At the end of the application, there is a $60 fee to submit, and you can share your application with additional schools that accept the Clarity Application for no additional charge. Simply use the dropdown menu in the application to select those schools. Please remember to return to your dashboard after you complete and submit your Clarity Application, as Applewild School requires you to upload additional tax documentation. |
Current Applewild families who meet the deadline and qualify for Financial Aid for kindergarten through 9th grade students will be provided their tuition and re-enrollment contract in February. If a family’s financial circumstances have changed in a given year, the Financial Aid process can be initiated for the upcoming academic year. In this situation, a family should contact the Business Office.
The application typically takes less than 30 minutes to complete. The Clarity Application is also mobile-friendly so you can complete it from anywhere. You are also able to save your progress and return at any time. If you need support during the process of completing your application, there is in-app support available through the “Help” button in the bottom left of the screen, as well as email and phone support at [email protected] or 206-210-3752, in both English and Spanish. The application itself is also fully translated into Spanish.
